This wonderful party was very well attended and guests were entertained by the Sligo University Choir in full song.
We also had delightful music from a quartet from the Sligo Academy of Music.
The speakers were our longstanding patron Mr Ray McSharry and our guest speaker was Jim Gray who has long connections with the hospital in a reporting capacity, as a patient and also socially as he met his lovely wife who worked in Sligo Hospital over the years too. Jim’s speech was very entertaining and informative on the history and evolvement of the many departments of Sligo Hospital.
